I believe that authentic change occurs in our lives when we feel heard, valued, and connected. My aim as a professional counselor is to come alongside clients and help them find meaningful change from within. I work from a client-centered perspective and seek to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients in every session. I take an eclectic approach to my practice, utilizing a variety of different techniques in order to best fit the needs of each individual.
I am well-versed in Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral therapies as well as sand tray therapy and other creative therapy techniques. I have experience working with children and adolescents coping with anxiety, depression, and history of trauma.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a registered yoga instructor. I utilize mindfulness practices and breathwork in session where appropriate, helping clients find more meaningful mind/body connection.
