I believe therapy’s greatest power is providing a space safe enough for you to embrace your full experience of being human. I obtained my BS in Psychology and MS in Counseling after years of working with youth in foster care and individuals with disabilities. I now operate fully out of my own private practice to ensure that I can offer flexible services that will best support my clients, and especially enjoy working with those who are neurodivergent and/or LGBTQIA+.
I offer trauma-focused services with EMDR-based healing, with specialty in childhood, religious, and sexual trauma. I am currently undergoing a nationally recognized program to become a certified Sex Therapist. I also utilize a variety of techniques to help with management of mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder.
Because there is not one counseling approach that fits all, I offer a varied style, which means your counseling session could look different from someone else’s or even different from the previous week. What stays consistent is my support of who you are and honoring the vulnerability and courage it took to engage in therapy in the first place.
