Are you in the family-building years of life? Maybe you've only started the journey to motherhood and are facing infertility, or are pregnant or postpartum. Perhaps you have small kids and are still wondering when you'll feel like yourself again. You aren't sure if your feelings are "normal", and feel alone and isolated. You might expect too much of yourself, and then struggle with guilt or shame when those expectations are not met. Motherhood and parenting are hard. Let's work together to process your unique experience of becoming a mom, improve your confidence, and find more joy in motherhood.
I specialize in perinatal mental health. I have training in infertility, pregnancy loss and postpartum depression and anxiety. Treatment focuses on reducing your emotional suffering and symptoms, and easing the adjustment to motherhood. I use a gentle but direct approach with clients, and focus on building your confidence with improving your situation.
I am a self-pay practice, which allows me to keep a smaller caseload of clients. I specialize in maternal mental health, and offer a personalized and in-depth approach with my clients. We'll establish goals that are important to you, and work together for as long as needed to reach those goals.
