Anger, anxiety, depression, shame, and challenges with self-identity are often rooted in unresolved trauma. When left unaddressed, trauma can deeply impact our relationships and family dynamics. As your therapist, my goal is to collaborate with you in managing trauma-related symptoms and moving toward a more meaningful, fulfilling life. I use a client-centered approach to create a safe and supportive space where unresolved emotions and reactions can be explored. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is just as important as the modality used because healing begins with trust, connection, and the freedom to be vulnerable.
I utilize DBT, IFS, ACT, and the Trauma-Resilience Model to support clients in unpacking and processing traumatic experiences at their own pace, always through a trauma-informed lens. By exploring these emotions safely, clients can gain new perspectives on their trauma, reclaim their lives, and build new habits that foster lasting positive change.
I also specialize in couples and family therapy. I use EFT and Gottman Method to support you in exploring effective ways and tools to recognize communication patterns and prevent feelings of disconnection.
