I’m so proud of you for seeking out therapy! Are you looking for a compassionate and down-to-earth Therapist to talk to about hard things, if so, I’d love an opportunity to work with you. You do not have to have a history of substance abuse for us to work together. I also serve those who are struggling with mental health issues and other life struggles. My passion is working with those 14 and up who are struggling with emotional challenges and/or substance abuse. My first goal is to gain your trust. I will not tell you what to do, instead we will work together to help you achieve the therapeutic goals that YOU set for yourself.
I enjoy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This treatment approach allows us to explore cognitive distortions & other unhealthy thinking patterns. Additionally we will explore the onset to these thinking patterns as well as ways to manage them. Exploring & reframing these thought patterns may reduce stress & help you to live a more fulfilling life.
