I am currently accepting new clients for daytime appointments only. I am a licensed independent clinical social worker and earned my master's degree in social work from Boston College. I provide individual and family therapy to adolescents and adults. Development of a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation from which good clinical work begins. Understanding clients goals and using their strengths to achieve those goals is of the upmost importance in my practice.
Throughout my career I have worked in a variety of mental health settings including outpatient clinics, in home therapy and residential placements. My style is collaborative and supportive while being direct and challenging when needed. I use a client centered approach in therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, psychoeducation and dialectic behavior therapy.
Areas of specialty include: anxiety, ADHD, depression, mood disorders and womans health.
