I am a counselor who truly feels honored to be working alongside adult clients to help facilitate the change they need in their life. In addition to being a therapist, I have worked in higher education since 2006 as a college professor and even an adviser, so I have the passion and the knowledge base required for working with college aged clients. In addition, I have years of experience working with adults who have experienced trauma, or struggle with anxiety, depression, personal, or marital issues.
In my counseling practice I primarily use EMDR, CBT, TF-CBT, and Solution Focused Therapy. I consider myself a client-centered therapist, an equal, and a part of your team. I also offer life coaching/consulting as an alternative to counseling if you feel your issues aren’t due to a mental illness.
I am very passionate about my clients and I strive to create a comfortable and safe atmosphere that fosters change and personal growth. I offer sessions both in office and via telehealth so you can pick which method best suits your needs. I am currently accepting new clients, and I would love to assist you in accomplishing your therapeutic goals.
