Life can be difficult at times and I meet each client where "they are" in life without any judgment or criticism. Stress and anxiety can come in many forms and many ways, which can lead to feelings of being "overwhelmed." All trauma is different and each client has a different response/reaction to the same experience. I work with ALL families, couples, and individuals in processing, understanding, and learning to cope on their journey through life.
I am a veteran of the armed forces and interned at the VA in the Post Combat Care Unit working with veterans who struggle with PTSD. I am trauma centric in my style of therapy but do not subscribe to any specific therapy, but assess each client for which modality may work best.
The client is the expert of themselves and the answers lie within each of them. My job is to help each client discover what is already inside them and to find the balance and peace that will give them a more fulfilling "life."
