I specialize in couples counseling and adult relationships. I have been doing couples work since 1977 and also have experience teaching graduate students in Marriage and Family Counseling. Courses included Separation, Divorce and Remarriage as well as Introduction to Marriage and Family Counseling. Previously I was Director of the Counseling Center at University of Houston where I had a staff of Psychologists and trained Psychologists.
Until recently I was Director of Counseling and Psychological Services at University of Houston. I supervised a staff of 10 psychologists and licensed professional counselors. At this point I do only private practice, but have flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays.
I have been a licensed Psychologist specializing in couples and relationship therapy for over forty years. I am also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
With my wife Karen I am hoping to soon complete a book, "Worth Fighting For; Self-Help for Couples". Also check out my complete website: counselinghouston.com
