I am a Psychotherapist with a wide range of experience with issues relating to psychotherapy, marriage and family therapy, mental health and human sexuality. I have worked in a variety of settings including out patient mental health clinics, academia and in private practice. I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds, sexual and gender orientations and ethnicities.
As a therapist I am practical and pragmatic in helping my clients develop a treatment plan that will not only provide them effective relief from symptoms, but one that also can help them develop a new vision for living more creative and fully realized lives. I am a Level 3 Certified IFS Therapist and Clinical Consultant.
Many of my clients reflect upon past experiences with other therapists where they felt they were not listened too or fully engaged. They appreciate my more human and mindfulness based approach that emphasizes both empathic listening and deeply healing internal work. They like knowing that I am fully engaged and on their side.

Adult Gay Male IFS informed psychotherapy Group
This group is for higher functioning adult gay men, ages 28 to 60 plus, using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) modality (https://ifs-institute.com/about-us). The group has been in existence since 2003, is open to new members and takes place on Zoom. Some of the issues regularly addressed in the group include: fears of conflict, relationship and communication skills, dating issues, sexual fears/dysfunctions/ compulsivities, intimacy issues, depression and anxiety, body image, self-esteem, family of origin issues, addictions and interpersonal skills.
