I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a special focus on Intimate Partner Relationships and Trauma Treatment and Care. I see families and individuals with a wide range of concerns and struggles. You will find me to be warm, personable, and caring. With regard to Intimate Partner Relationships, I look for strengths and resources that are already present while also exploring and mapping out pathways to further increase trust, commitment and relational intimacy. While doing all this, I still attend to relational wounds and breaks in trust.
With regard to trauma, I use the treatment model of MEMI, which stands for Multichannel Eye Movement Integration. This is similar in many ways to EMDR but also has a few notable differences. MEMI treatment and positive outcomes does not depend on sharing detailed information of the trauma. MEMI treatment can often be completed in a single 60-minute session.
