As a therapist, I believe that lasting change comes from the inside. I view therapy as a guide post to help individuals, couples, and families navigate difficult situations and to discover their inner strength and potential. I believe in providing a safe, nonjudgmental, and relaxed atmosphere to create a therapeutic alliance to help you attain your goals. For the past 7 years I have worked with children, families, and young adults from various backgrounds and life situations dealing with a wide range of complex issues such as; trauma, depression, anxiety, developing healthy relationships, and sexual issues
Prior to my therapy career I served 8 years as a medic and paratrooper in the United States Army. I understand the complexities and the issues that are unique to our armed service members and their families.
In private practice I work with young adults, families, and couples to navigate issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and sexual issues. I have received extensive training in treating complex trauma ranging from PTSD, sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, and emotional abuse with evidenced based interventions.
