My education, training and experience provide me the opportunity to work with a variety of clinical concerns, including relational distress, ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, abusive relationships, life transitions and personal wellness, among others. My approach to counseling is client-centered and eclectic in nature. I draw upon narrative, ACT, strength-based and evidenced-based modalities.
I have a Master's Degree in Psychology with a dual focus of Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Drama Therapy from Antioch University. I hold a certificate for CBT+ (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for PTSD, anxiety, depression and behavioral concerns). I have advanced training in ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), IFS and child Play Therapy.
Therapy is a journey of self discovery. A journey that allows us to utilize our innate strengths in the face of adversity, and provides us the tools, insight and ability to develop meaningful and fulfilling lives.
