My name is Kelsie Goller, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), Registered Play Therapist (RPT), and EMDR Certified Therapist with over 12 years of experience in counseling individuals with trauma history, depression, anxiety, family issues, and emotional/physical/sexual abuse. I work with children (3+ years old), adolescents, college students, and adults of all ages, with a special focus on the foster care/adoption community. I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University.
I use multiple modalities including EMDR, play therapy, Adlerian therapy, Solution-Focused therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT to help clients work towards their treatment plan goals. I believe in fitting the approach to therapy with the client's preferred style and needs, placing the importance of the client-counselor relationship above therapy techniques.
I want every client entering my office to experience a felt sense of safety in which to explore their current needs. The first session will focus on gaining a holistic picture of your strengths, support system, history, and factors that impact the current problem, while also identifying the areas of life in which you want to see growth and change!
