About
Reaching out for therapy is a sign of courage, it is not easy to ask for help. If you are ready to start your healing journey, I would be honored to help contribute in your journey! I create a welcoming, relaxing, and non-judgmental environment for you to feel safe and comfortable to process the ups and downs life brings us. I have an eclectic approach when working with clients. I focus on empowering those I work with and meeting the client “where they are at.” I also have in session with me my Cavapoo dog, Harper, she is working towards becoming a therapy dog. If you do not like dogs, I can accommodate that as well.
I have extensive experience in crisis and advocacy work and I have gained experience providing both psychotherapeutic services and counseling to children, adolescents, and adults survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy as well to help with distressing images/traumas.
Other areas include treating persons suffering from trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and PTSD. I has also received extensive training in helping clients who are struggling with mood disorders and difficulty with relationships.
