Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) currently providing individual, family, and group counseling. I am originally from Georgia, but received my Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2017 from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I initially pursued Social Work due to my passion of helping others, and quickly discovered I could best serve others through counseling. My clinical work has provided me a wide range of experience with children, adolescents, and adults, addressing areas such as trauma/PTSD, grief/loss, behavioral/emotional distress, anger management, stress management, anxiety and depression.

I have received training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My work is trauma-informed, strengths-based and systems focused. My goal is to provide clients with a safe, non-judgmental, space to openly explore their concerns and identify realistic goals to achieve through counseling.
