Hi I'm Kelsey, a licensed therapist who believes that transformation occurs when we feel safe to be our authentic self without the fear of judgement. My approach is warm and comfortable and I strive to create a strong therapeutic connection with my clients, built on trust. I specialize in adults and young adults with anxiety, depression and grief. I have extensive experience working with perinatal and postpartum mental health, including fertility challenges, IVF, miscarriage and pregnancy loss. I’m devoted to providing a supportive space for you to explore your feelings while implementing new ways of coping that feel right for you.

I’m committed to finding what works best for each individual and tailoring my approach accordingly. I use psychodynamic theory, ACT, CBT, DBT, IFS and mindfulness techniques. I have over ten years of experience in the field in multiple settings including outpatient therapy, college counseling, crisis intervention and supporting parents in maternity & NICU.

I think the most important thing in therapy is that you connect with your therapist and feel comfortable, trusting and able to be authentic. Clinical Supervision Group

Group supervision for those working towards their LCSW, LPC or LMFT licensure. This group is a welcoming and helpful space to enhance clinical skills, discuss ethical dilemmas, and gain peer support. Group is led by Kelsey Smith, LCSW, owner of Stargazer Therapy. Currently meeting Mondays at 2pm virtually. Offered weekly with the option of also doing individual supervision with Kelsey at a reduced rate if you're a LCSW in need of more than 1 hour/week. Please email to discuss further!
