Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a background in Eating Disorders and Mood and Anxiety Disorders, and Sport Psychology. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master's in Human and Sport Performance, both from Adler University. I am highly passionate about helping others find freedom in the pressures of our society to become the best version of ourselves.
I have experience in individual, group, and family therapy in regard to eating disorder and substance use recovery, allowing me to create a holistic experience for the client. I am also able to tie in my personal experience as a collegiate athlete and work with all levels of performers to provide support for those overcoming injuries and performance anxiety.
I take a collaborative and compassionate approach to my work with my clients and their families. I draw upon a number of approaches in my work, including CBT, DBT, MI, and IFS. In addition, I use a Health at Every Size approach with my clients and work with my clients on learning to trust and have compassion for themselves.
