About
Are you feeling stuck and need some guidance for growth? I won't offer band-aid solutions, only lasting and meaningful change. Therapy to me is a process of identifying and understanding who you are and where you want to go. I want to journey with you to the deeper levels of your struggles and find the light. The arrow is a powerful symbol to me that represents the growth we are capable of. In order for an arrow to aim forward, it must be pulled back with the bow to gain strength.
We cannot change our past, no matter how much we may try to ignore it or feel shame about it. Instead, we can grow by accepting it and pulling from these experiences, no matter how traumatic, learning how they shaped us into who we are today. We are the arrow, using our strength from the past aiming forward into a more bright, hopeful and happier future.
I specialize in couples and family therapy and work from a systemic perspective. I utilize play therapy to help children that have experienced emotional/behavioral issues. I have substantial experience working with individuals with history of self-harm and suicidal ideation. I have extensive history working with trauma as well. Visit my site to learn more!
