I truly love working with parents. Whether you're experiencing tantrums from toddlers or teenagers, parenting through difficult stages can bring out the best and the worst in each of us. I bring my years as a teacher, foster parent, play therapist, and mother to walk along side you through whatever comes your way. Drawing from an attachment perspective, I work with parents to uncover current, past, and generational traumas to get to the roots of unhelpful coping patterns which may be impacting parenting decisions and outcomes.
I utilize a variety of methods, including cognitive, creative, and somatic to integrate mind, body, and spirit to lead to a more whole and complete sense of self. I have specific training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and I am a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist.
