In our work together, I am committed to supporting the cultivation of a more empowered and fulfilled you! I am committed to creating a safe and affirming space that allows us to stay curious, explore, reflect, and grow to improve your relationship with yourself, others, and the world around you. As a trained generalist clinician, my areas of interest primarily focused on sexuality and sexuality-related issues. I help individuals embrace their sexual and gender identities, work through sexual trauma, and improve overall sexual satisfaction. I emphasize sexual freedom of feelings, fantasies, and all healthy forms of sexual activity.
My approach is mainly through Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), integrating feminist theory and mindfulness-based interventions. Together, we will explore and challenge the unique beliefs, attitudes, or expectations that are a gateway to unhealthy emotions and self-sabotaging behaviors and establish a more adaptive or self-serving thought process.
In our sessions, we will work closely so that you can learn how to examine and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and adopt a more adaptive and self-serving thought process. I approach relationships from an LGBTQIA+ and kink affirmative lens, celebrating the diversity and fluidity of sexuality and gender.
