Hello! My name is Kelsey, and I am a licensed mental health counselor at Avalon Center. I believe that everyone deserves a non-judgmental space where the focus can be on them and their goals. Meeting people where they are at is important to me, and your goals are our goals in therapy. I have a background working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, substance use, and low self-esteem. I work with teenagers, adults, and older adults from a variety of backgrounds.
A little about me: I love horses, have pets, wear cowboy boots, watch The Golden Girls, listen to FBI thrillers, and enjoy traveling.
First and foremost, I offer a nonjudgmental space for you to explore different aspects of your life. Building a trusting partnership with you is most important to me, and I focus on empowering you to get where you want to be.
Asking for help can be scary, and picking a stranger off of the internet to confide in can be the most difficult part! Know that you are not alone in those feelings. If you think that I could be a good fit for you, I encourage you to reach out to get more information about myself and the therapeutic process.
