I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides virtual therapy in the state of Pennsylvania. With years of extensive knowledge and experience working in higher levels of care with adults, adolescents and families, I have supported many clients who are working to tackle struggles related to eating disorders, trauma, anxiety and depression. As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, I have the knowledge base needed to support clients on their recovery journey, however complex this may be.
Having recovered from an eating disorder myself, I am passionate in supporting clients and their families as they discover that full recovery is possible. I utilize a variety of approaches, including CBT, DBT and I am trained in utilizing Cognitive Processing Therapy with those who need to engage in trauma work.
I strive to both meet clients where they are while encouraging them to challenge negative narratives and thought patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I understand that it is crucial to create a safe environment within the therapeutic relationship in order to support clients to look beneath the surface and discuss struggles openly.
