As a licensed psychologist, I have extensive training and experience using evidence-based treatments for anxiety, trauma, and grief/loss. I view the client-therapist relationship as crucial in facilitating client growth and work from a holistic and interdisciplinary framework, using a relational approach informed by cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed, emotion-focused, and insight-oriented interventions. To ensure individualized care, I attend to client identities and cultural experiences (e.g., race/ethnicity, gender) to inform treatment and empower clients to identify and actively pursue their personal therapy goals.
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders, trauma, and grief/loss, and am enthusiastic about working with clients coping with change/transition, relationship concerns, and identity development issues. I enjoy working with adults of all ages (18+) and have extensive experience working with young adults and individuals in the medical field.
I earned my doctorate (Ph.D.) in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University and completed my advanced training at universities in Los Angeles, California (i.e., Predoctoral Internship: University of Southern California's Student Counseling Services; Postdoctoral Fellowship: Loyola Marymount University's Student Psychological Services).
