Welcome! And thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. My name is Kelsey Gibbs, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker here at Deep Eddy Psychotherapy. My number one passion in life is to help nurture others to be their best selves using a nonjudgemental approach. My academic journey led me to study Social Work at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri where I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Social Work and Masters of Social Work. This is where my love for working in the mental health field began to grow, flourish, and ultimately led me to obtaining my clinical social work license.
As a therapist, I use multiple therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Special interests and experience include working with eating disorders, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, codependency, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, trauma, and self esteem issues.
It would be my pleasure to help you on your journey to self-wellness. Beyond my work as a clinician, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, reading, traveling, and spending time in nature.
