My approach to therapy is collaborative and tailored to the client I am working with. I create a safe space for individuals of all ages looking to work through life stressors, depression, anxiety, and trauma (life changes, past history of abuse or neglect, grief/loss). I also work with families who may be struggling with behavior management issues (tantrums, emotion dysregulation in young children).
I am trained in evidence-based trauma therapies including EMDR, Prolonged Exposure, and Trauma-Focused CBT. I am also trained in parent management training to work through behavioral challenges with young children (specifically ages 2-10). I use my knowledge and expertise in these modalities to create a specialized treatment plan for your care.
