About
Therapy has become so much more than laying down on a couch and being asked "and how does that make you feel?" It's an hour a week (maybe every other week) that will give you increased clarity in your life, a sense of reassurance, and maybe some insight into how you are feeling and ways you can feel better the next week. Therapy will also provide you with support in working towards the goals you have in your life, and create a sense of accountability to allow you to keep making progress, which can be especially helpful if you struggle with anxiety or procrastination.
I support my clients in focusing on what they deem as being necessary and important for them to work on. It is not my role to tell you what needs to change; my role is to support you in making the changes you want, whether those are external changes, such as work or relationships or internal changes, such as improving self-esteem or reducing anxiety.
Submit your request here on Psychology Today or call me to book your initial session. Currently, I am offering Saturday appointments and have limited weekday availability. While I am only able to accept self-pay at the moment, I will be accepting insurance beginning in March, including Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Optum.
