There are many things that can prevent us from reaching our goals and affect our quality of life including past trauma and unresolved adverse experiences, stress, poor coping mechanisms, relational issues, grief/loss, mental illness, and addiction. My goal is to help you change the things in life that are holding you back and help you find better ways to cope and deal with the things in life that cannot be changed. Through therapy, I hope to help you get the most out of your life and relationships and reach your personal goals.
I tailor my therapy to each individual's personal needs and goals. I frequently use a combination of techniques in counseling including multiple trauma-focused techniques. I use EMDR, somatic, and ego-state interventions frequently.
