I believe that change happens within the context of healing relationships. I provide guidance for my clients to heal from the impact of stressful or traumatic life circumstances by forming healthy connections with themselves and others. I am trained in trauma-informed, attachment-based therapy including sand-tray therapy and play therapy. I am certified in EMDR - a way to reprocess old traumatic events which can help the brain form new positive neural pathways and lead to increased self-regulation, calmer responses to stress, and greater authenticity in relationships.
I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, couples and families. I am passionate about helping parents to overcome challenging behaviors to experience connection and ease in their relationships to their children and their partner. I am delighted to be back in my hometown of Austin and would be honored to work with you.
