Looking for a therapist who loves their work? I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults from all walks of life. My previous work-life experiences have allowed me to maintain a non-judgmental, therapeutic environment where it is understood we are all unique individuals. We certainly have our own values, beliefs, history, and degree of acculturation. Too, we have different ways of looking at life and responding to life's events. Our differences help us see other views in which to see the world and the "collateral beauty" in our struggles. I will help you heal through your hardships and find ways to cope.
I utilize a multimodal approach that can include CBT, DBT, positive psychology, motivational interviewing, and working with family systems. By empowering clients to change unhealthy life patterns they will develop better decision-making skills, foster mutually beneficial relationships, build toward a positive outlook on life, and have hope for the future.
I have worked with several clients, and I’d like to think that I have not only helped them achieve positive outcomes, but also helped them to see the “collateral beauty” in their struggles.
