I specialize working with individuals 16 and up, folks with trauma, and provide gender affirming care. Our work together focuses on self-compassion, awareness and setting boundaries in our lives. I believe this work helps bring long lasting, positive changes. Together we explore current issues, traumas, life struggles and transitions to facilitate greater understanding and change. My hope is to build relationships and work collaboratively in a judgement-free zone. I treat a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and interpersonal issues.
I use person centered theory and a variety of approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, parts work, positive psychology, mindfulness, and EMDR.
Sometimes one of our biggest struggles is to be heard. The people in our lives tend to mean well but have big opinions on how we should live our lives. It's my goal to create a space where people are comfortable to share whatever is on their mind without judgment.
