I enjoy working with individuals 16 and up. I specialize in working with childhood and adult trauma, major life changes (grief, divorce, parenthood), depression, anxiety, bipolar, and gender exploration. Our work together focuses on self-compassion, awareness and setting boundaries in our lives. My hope is to build relationships and work collaboratively in a judgement-free zone. I treat a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and interpersonal issues.
I use a variety of approaches, based on the individuals needs and goals. I use EMDR, brainspotting, CBT, polyvagal theory, internal family systems, solution focused therapy, and personal centered theory. I regularly provide letters for gender affirming care.
Sometimes one of our biggest struggles is to be heard. The people in our lives tend to mean well but have big opinions on how we should live our lives. It's my goal to create a space where people are comfortable to share whatever is on their mind without judgment.
