My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion but fueled by a results-oriented paradigm that seeks to ensure client progress is in line with your individual goals. I provide counseling to a wide variety of clients, with a specialization in trauma, anxiety, and relationship issues. I am passionate about helping people resource themselves so that they are equipped to handle life challenges in stride. My practice also focuses on healing wounds that are impeding relational health, so that the progress you and your family make will be lasting.
I rely heavily upon Rogerian techniques which involves a client-centered approach coupled with unconditional positive regard. A Social Worker at heart, I truly believe that we all posses innate strengths and resources that make us capable to solve our most immediate dilemmas. Sometimes we just need a little help uncovering them.
It has been my desire to provide therapeutic services that utilize the variety of skills I have gained over the years to create a welcoming and comforting environment for people to pursue change in their lives. It is my hope that therapy can act as a compass to help you navigate your pain in a way that enables new growth.
