Please note: I currently have a 6-8 month wait for new clients. The world may be telling you that you are not enough, that you need to change in order to fit in. Sometimes that pressure to fit neatly into a particular box is more than you feel you can overcome on your own. That is where therapy can help. My practice is greatly informed by Anna Quindlen's quote: "The thing that is really hard and really amazing is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself". You do not need to change to meet the world's expectations, you are already perfect as you are and I want to help you believe that.
I have a deep understanding that at times life becomes overwhelming. In work with clients with ADHD I strive to help you find a way to work with your brain, not against it. My general approach to counseling is to work from a place of unconditional positive regard for all of my clients and I greatly believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship.
I am passionate about helping clients accept themselves as they are and work from a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective. I strive to meet every client where they are in their process, and to create a safe space for them to self-reflect and share while acquiring the necessary tools to begin to feel most like yourself.
