About
Accepting new clients: limited availability (only mornings and daytime slots at this time). Often my clients come to therapy when they are at the point of exhaustion, feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, uncertain of how to make positive changes in their lives, and needing some additional support. We work together to explore their strengths, resources and coping skills that work for their unique needs and life circumstances.
As a certified Solution-Focused therapist, I work with individuals and couples to help them move from problem-based thinking to solution-focused thinking. Each of my clients bring a unique set of strengths, courage, talents, and resources to their lives. Together we will strengthen those resources in order to increase wellbeing.
You are not alone. I am here to help remind you of the strengths you bring to your life, to inspire you to reach for your best hopes and goals, and to guide you to tools, skills, and knowledge that will help relieve distress.
Kelly O'Gara
“My goal is to use a strengths-based approach to help clients feel validated and empowered to achieve their goals.”
