Kelly is a fully licensed social worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience. A seasoned and skilled clinician, she provides therapy to children ages 6 through 18, as they go through life changes, or experience adjustment difficulties in school, with friends, or within their families. An area of expertise is working with clients who have experienced trauma or witnessed domestic violence or abuse. She works with individuals, as well as siblings and families.
Kelly utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based, Trauma-Focused CBT, Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC) framework, she is able to provide customized treatment for each client. The goal at the end of a session is to finish on a positive note, and have clients looking forward to their next session.
Kelly excels at making therapy enjoyable, and creating a space for children to feel safe and secure. She uses an array of techniques such as games, books, art and play in order to best serve the needs of the client.
