It’s usually not easy telling a complete stranger your hidden fears and secrets. However, being honest and vulnerable as you process emotions is the doorway to freedom. I've been in the receiving side of therapy before so I know what it's like to take this first step. This helps clients work through their difficulties and struggles; while reminding them of and building on their strengths and current resources.
I take a wholistic approach to health; looking at body, soul and spirit. I point out your strengths and together we tweak what is out of balance. You let me know your goals and I help you meet them. If you are a Christian I can assist you in building your spirituality to increase your resiliency and growth. You can possess a better today and tomorrow.
The word counselor comes from the Greek word parakletos, which means "one called alongside to help." I will challenge you; walk beside you; coach you and cheer you on as you work through painful feelings, memories and current situations in which you find yourself.
