I am a Licensed Mental Health counselor who specializes in working with trauma and eating disorders . Trauma leaves a living legacy that can stay with you long after the trauma is over and I can help you live a life free from that legacy. I do so utilizing a parts model approach to therapy called Trauma Informed Stabilization in combination with EMDR . I also have a specialty of working with eating disorders with a health at every size approach. We work to understand the disordered eating pattern, develop tools and resources to target the symptoms of the. disorder and get to the core issue behind. I work with adults of all ages.
My strength is in providing a safe environment for you to be able to share how your trauma has impacted your life. I also help you build skills to be an advocate for yourself to ensure that you are living true to your priorities and values and free from the burdens that trauma can carry that keep us from moving forward.
