I work with individuals, children, families and couples. My areas of specialization include trauma, depression, anxiety, family conflict, social skills, and self-esteem building. My work is driven by the belief that all people deserve a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment to address life's challenges. It is my goal to build a collaborative working relationship with clients where the foundation of our time together is built on the inherent strengths of individuals and families.
I am committed to helping clients problem-solve, develop self-awareness, and make positive changes in their lives. My treatment approach is tailored to fit the needs of families and individuals through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Trauma focused techniques.
My previous experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings including schools, a residential treatment center, a detention center and an outpatient mental health clinic. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and have a certification from the Maryland State Department of Education (MDSE).
