As a child and family therapist, my goal is to provide an inclusive, judgement-free, safe space for self-exploration as you move toward positive changes. I specialize in working with children, teens, and parents to learn coping skills, emotional co-regulation, social skills, as well as managing chronic illnesses. Incorporating new skills with your strengths will help you move toward your goals. I am neurodivergent affirming and an LGBTQIA+ ally.
Using an eclectic therapy model, I often incorporate mindfulness, art, play, and music therapy techniques in sessions to help clients explore and express emotions. I also use evidence based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I have completed additional training and certification in managing ADHD.
Whether you choose to do therapy in person or online, feeling comfortable with your counselor is essential component to a positive outcome. I would be happy to do a free 15 minute phone consultation with you. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please contact me below.
