My counseling style is based on humanistic and person-centered philosophies which value developing a relationship based on empathy, acceptance, and collaboration between therapist and client.
I’ve worked in a variety of mental health settings which include residential treatment, community mental health, transitional housing services, and crisis hotline. I enjoy working with adults on an individual basis.
My areas of interest are anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship concerns, emotion regulation and how the gut/brain connection affects one’s mental health. I use a variety of techniques which include CBT, DBT, and mindfulness based-strategies.
