Kelly Hopkins is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia, and she holds certifications in the areas of substance use disorders and trauma. Kelly has 13 years of experience in a variety of settings in the behavioral health field, working with culturally diverse populations with mood disorders, personality disorders, and addictions. Kelly completed her Bachelor of Arts from Longwood University and she received her Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Kelly utilizes a combination of therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual’s needs. These include person-centered, trauma-informed, cognitive behavioral, dialectal behavioral, motivational interviewing, and interpersonal.
