Perhaps you have been feeling like life has been hard for you lately, and you’re seeking out answers on how to feel better. Maybe you are struggling with negative thoughts that don’t seem to go away, and keep you stuck. You may have persistent feelings that you aren’t good enough, that everyone else seems to have it together, why don’t you? I believe it is possible to feel better. I believe that we can learn to understand ourselves in such a way that we can create the change to live our best lives.
I provide therapy from an integrative approach that has been successful with my clients in improving their emotional health and increasing insight so they can better understand how they function in their world, and what they may want to be different. My approach is non-judgmental, empathic, culturally humble, and where appropriate humorous.
The therapeutic relationship is one of, if not the most important ingredient to counseling, because without the feeling of safety, compassion, and genuineness, there is no theory or approach to counseling that will be effective.
