I help adults, teens, and couples who want to work through relationship issues, anxiety, perfectionism, and issues related to high performance. I specialize in working with athletes and people with demanding jobs who want to balance work and family and improve their mental performance and relationships. I also specialize in working with people who have a religious background and may be experiencing a faith crisis. I use cognitive behavioral strategies, sport and performance psychology techniques, and relationship and communication skill building to help people motivated to achieve their goals make changes in their lives.
My specialties include cultural competence in working with Mormon or LDS clients anywhere on the spectrum of belief/activity, faith transitions, and working with athletes on sports and performance psychology, body image issues, and building positive relationships with coaches and parents. I also provide couples counseling and family therapy.
