Helping children and teens grow, heal, and thrive starts with understanding what’s really going on. I am a pediatric psychotherapist working with youth and the grown-ups who love them. Many families I support are navigating anxiety, ADHD, Autism, trauma, divorce, or co-parenting challenges and want more than quick fixes—they want lasting understanding and growth. I help children develop emotional regulation, distress tolerance, coping skills, self-awareness, social skills, and resilience, and provide family counseling and parent support to guide caregivers in fostering connection, confidence, and empowerment every step of the way.
My approach is creative, relational, and developmentally informed. I blend play, art, and movement with evidence-based practices like DBT, CBT, and IFS. I help kids and families strengthen emotional insight, restore connection, and build lasting tools to navigate anxiety, behavior challenges, and life’s ups and downs—together.
I offer year-round services at our Federal Way office and via telehealth. In addition, I have seasonal equine-assisted therapy, horsemanship, music and art camps, and events designed to empower and enhance communication and self-esteem. I prioritize social wellness, cultural diversity, and provide gender-affirming, inclusive care.

Modern Youth provides trauma-informed, evidence-based counseling for kids ages 2–18 and the grown-ups who love them.
