Kelly Eisner, MA, LMHC, CDWF, NCC, Counselor in Babylon
When our own efforts at changing ourselves or our circumstances aren't working anymore, it can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed and hopeless. Sometimes our strategies that were once effective for managing stress leave us feeling numb, disconnected and even experiencing shame. Often we feel that we are "never good enough". During these times we may be struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction and likely many distressing feelings and thoughts. I work with adolescents and adults who want to choose authenticity over pretending, perfecting and pleasing and connect with others around the courage it takes to embrace the full human experience.
Each of us walk a path individually our own and I embrace acceptance and unconditional positive regard for each person I am privileged to serve. It is my life's work to help people gain peace, perspective, and empowerment to improve their ability to live a fulfilled life.
My strengths-based psychotherapy services are individualized using a mixture of talk therapy, creative assignments, and meditation training. I am a Certified Daring Way(tm) Candidate (a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown). If you are ready to make changes and live authentically, call me today.

The Daring Way(tm) 8 Week Women's Group

I am a Certified Daring Way(tm) Facilitator Candidate. The Daring Way(tm) is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was developed to help men, women, and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver lives. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing a courage practice that transforms the way we live, love, parent, and lead. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings and is suitable for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders.
