Welcome! I believe we all have an impetus toward meaning and joy. Yet life can bring challenges from the past and present. I am dedicated to helping you move toward freedom from anxiety, stress, trauma, and relationship issues, in order to thrive in your good life. My approach is warm and empathic, with a focus on creating a new toolbox with your strengths. Small steps create huge results. With couples, I am interested in how our family-of-origin's communication and our neurodiversity inform perceptions and reactions. The goal is to resolve conflicts, enhance connectivity, and cultivate mutual kindness and teamwork.
My approach is collaborative and utilizes: ACT, DBT, Family Systems, Gottman Couples, Mindfulness, and, if desired, art therapy. Specific foci include: relationship, career, ADHD, mindfulness, health habits, body/mind, meaning and values. I offer resources to support you between sessions.
It takes courage to reach and out and share your feelings with a new person. Be assured that you will receive warmth, good humor, and acceptance. I suggest a free fifteen minute virtual or phone meeting to start. I am also a mom, children's book author, dancer, runner, and ocean plunger.
