About
Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and families. Kelly completed her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Gender & Women’s Studies at Villanova University. She completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Rutgers University with a clinical focus in violence against women and children. Kelly has worked in a variety of clinical settings including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, outpatient medical settings, and private practices. She has also provided in-home counseling services for at risk youth and adults.
Kelly specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, stress related to health conditions, and relationship concerns. Kelly is an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and works with clients to better understand and embrace their authentic selves. Kelly utilizes various techniques in her practice including CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
Kelly believes that trust, empowerment, and awareness are crucial elements in therapeutic relationships. Kelly recognizes the importance of identifying personal strengths in therapeutic work and tapping into one’s uniqueness as a means of coping, healing, learning, and growing.
