I love working with folks from teens to elders, people who are at a crossroads in their lives , who need a compassion listener and an insightful, candid person to join them on the path for a while. Sometimes we meet for just a few sessions on that path; sometimes we work together for a longer distance. I cherish the collaborative nature of good therapy; we work together to find solutions and the next step on your path!
I'm trained as a marriage and family therapist. Over time I've developed interest in and expertise in treatment of post traumatic stress disorder and healing from abuse. As an eclectic practitioner, I work with techniques that best fit the individual and situation versus a one size fits all approach.
I've worked in a wide variety of settings in my 24+ years in the field, and those experiences as well as my education and personal life experiences shape me to be the practitioner I am today. I'm an empathetic listener with a great sense of humor!
