Immediate openings for new clients. Experiencing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)? Struggling with worrying, anxiety, or panic attacks? Having irrational fears (phobia)? Worrying too much about your health? Reliving trauma memories? Having a hard time sleeping (insomnia)? Managing chronic pain? Going through a major life transition? Helping you become more effective at responding to stress and challenges with a better ability to pursue your goals and values in life is my passion! I provide evidence-based therapy, choosing techniques that research shows are likely to be effective for your type of problem www.drkellycaver.com
I specialize in treating OCD, anxiety, trauma, and insomnia. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which teach you skills to better manage distressing thoughts and feelings and make changes to live life according to your values. I offer Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety.
Clients I work with have reported they feel less stressed and anxious, less negatively impacted by traumas, sleep better, have more energy, and can engage in their lives more fully. I am LGBTQ+ affirming, work with many transgender clients, and I practice cultural humility – a lifelong commitment to understanding my own and my clients’ cultural identities.
