I am a licensed mental health counselor with 15+ years of experience working in community mental health. I utilized both brief and long-term treatment methods to treat patients. My approach is open, mindful, and non-judgmental. It is also client-centered and solution-focused.
I use an eclectic style, with a strong focus on Cognitive Behavioral techniques to help recognize and stop negative thinking and also provide psycho-educational information. I am also trained and certified in perinatal mental health and postpartum depression and anxiety. I also have a passion for providing supervision to other therapists.
If you are experiencing a loss, feeling stressed or overwhelmed, having relationship difficulties, going through a life transition, or experiencing depression or anxiety, I can offer a safe, comfortable place for you to feel heard and work through your challenges and to develop improved insight.
